some new things coming out.
BB: What's your specific role in all this? It sounds like you have to wear a lot of hats.
Keasler: (laughing) I'm officially the president of the Bruce Lee Foundation. My mom is the chairperson, so the two of us are officers of that organization. We're involved on a daily basis in what goes on. I sit on the executive committee, as well, so I do a lot of the day-to-day stuff for the organization, which is very time-consuming. On the business side of things there is Concord Moon. That's a company my mom and I formed. It holds all the rights to the name and likeness and so on, so we do our licensing from there. I work on that on a daily basis, as well.
BB: Do you have time to eat and sleep?
Keasler: (laughing) I don't get to shower every day, but almost.
BB: Do you have any contact with China—with relatives or martial arts organizations?
Keasler: I have some relatives there, and I know of some things that are going on, but I don't have a lot of contact with people in China at this time. However, we're working on changing that. Hopefully, in the next year or so, we'll be doing more over there. In fact, I went to mainland China for the first time last year.
Keasler: It was great. I went for a conference on martial arts films from China as a bridge to the world. There were a lot of industry people and martial arts people, and they gave my dad an award, which I accepted on his behalf. Then we all gave speeches at the conference. I met a lot of great people.
BB: In a way, you're a cultural ambassador for the martial arts. That must be a great role to have. Keasler: It's fun. We're definitely trying to work on relationships over there. It's a little bit tricky because it's a very different place, but we have all our desires in the same place, so it's going to be good for the future. *•<
